Chief Medical Examiner's journal
|
Wednesday, December 3:
Doctor Vail made a cursory examination of the body of Bruce Dunbar, and reported: "There is little to be learned. Mr. Dunbar most assuredly died of snakebite, and he has been dead some seven or eight hours, I cannot say more exactly. May I see the reptile?"
Carolyn Wells, writing in The Visiting Villain, 1934.
